A Dhaka court placed on Monday Ishrat Rafique Ishita, who fooled people by posing as medical scientist, researcher, talk-show discussants, diplomat and even Brigadier General, and his partner in crimes Shahidul Islam Didar on total six days remand in two separate cases.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Asheq Imam passed the order as police produced the fraud duo before the court and pleaded to place them on total 10-day remand in one cheating case and another narcotics case.

A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-4 detained Ishita and Didar from their Mirpur den on Sunday and recovered fake identity cards, visiting cards, seals, certificates, passports, laptop, yaba tablets, foreign liquor, two uniforms and rank badges of Brigadier Generals.

Later three cases were filed against them with Shah Ali Police Station.
